About Us

Hi, I'm Zara, a primary school ex-teacher here in Singapore.

Every day in my classroom, I watch kids' faces light up when I pull out a storybook. There's something magical about that moment—suddenly, restless seven-year-olds become explorers, inventors, and heroes. But the best stories? They don't just entertain. They teach us how to be brave, kind, and curious about the world.

That's when I realized something was missing.

In our digital world, my students were losing the simple joy of real mail. You know that flutter of excitement when you spot an envelope with your name on it? When was the last time a child felt that?

I grew up racing to our letterbox after school, hoping for letters from my pen pal in Australia. The thrill of tearing open that envelope, unfolding pages covered in her handwriting, learning about her pet kangaroo (okay, that turned out to be her dog, but still!). Those letters felt like treasures—something I could hold, reread, and keep forever.

Letters aren't just words on paper. They're adventures you can touch.

So I created Dear Angel—where children can experience that same magic I felt as a kid, but with stories that spark their imagination and teach them about history, courage, and friendship. When Zocrates R. Sanders crash-landed his time machine into that tree and Dear Angel (you the reader) found him, well... let's just say his letters home have become quite the adventure for families everywhere.

Because every child deserves to run to the mailbox with excitement, knowing something wonderful is waiting just for them.

Ready to bring back the magic of real mail?
